Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is designed for deployment in companies of virtually any size, from small (with 100 or more users) to large enterprises (with over 10,000 and even 100,000 users). The largest Symantec DLP deployment was at a company with over 300,000 employees; unfortunately, the company’s name is not disclosed. The largest public deployment was at the consulting firm Deloitte, which employs approximately 180,000 people.
